Bizcocho en Licuadora Recipe
A simple, fluffy, and delicious homemade cake made using a blender.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil (e.g., sunflower or canola)
- 1 cup milk (or orange juice for a citrus twist)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Optional Add-ins:
- Zest of 1 lemon or orange for extra flavor
- ½ cup shredded coconut or chocolate chips
Instructions
Step 1: Blend the Wet Ingredients
- In a blender, add eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, milk (or juice), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend for about 30–60 seconds until smooth.
Step 2: Add Dry Ingredients
- Add the flour gradually, blending in short bursts to avoid lumps.
- Add the baking powder last and blend briefly until combined.
Step 3: Prepare the Baking Pan
- Grease a 9-inch (22 cm) round or rectangular baking pan with butter or oil and dust it with flour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Step 4: Bake the Cake
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before removing from the pan.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!
- You can dust with powdered sugar or serve with jam, chocolate syrup, or whipped cream.
